ALCASPEC is a new, specially for the hot dip galvanizing industry developed, up to date, alkaline degreaser and has the following characteristics:

1. Works at a low temperature, 15 to 35 ^oC with a very high efficiency.
2. Has a high emulsifying power at a relatively low pH, 12 to 12.5.
3. Rinsing after degreasing is not necessary.
4. The emulsified oils and fats remain emulsified in the pickling bath, rinse bath and fluxbad. No black floating mud formation in pickling tanks!
5. Gives a very low sludge production in the degreasing bath.
6. Biodegradable.

ALCASPEC has been in use on an industrial scale since 2009. At the moment about 15  ALCASPEC degreasing baths are in operation across Western Europe .

Due to the very high efficiency, ALCASPEC combines well with the TURBOTANK pickling system.

ALCASPEC, increases the performance of the TURBOTANK pickling system considerably.
